I found out today about Yorkshire Pudding :o :cheer: I think we call it pasteitje!

I thought Yorkshire Pudding was a real pudding....but maybe what us Dutchies call pudding isn't the same as what you people call pudding :unsure: :unsure: :unsure:

Dutch pasteitje look a bit like Vol a Vents to me :unsure: which taste completely different to Yorkshire Pud

I think the term "pudding" refers to the bowl it is made in / shape.

Traditional British puddings were made in the same bowl as the savoury ones.

 

It is now used as a term for something sweet for desert .......
