BOMT debuted at No.8 but it eventually peaked at No.2 (some months after its release)

Oops!, Greatest Hits and Blackout all debuted at No.2.

So, her album peaks in the UK are:

No.2 Baby One More Time (1,155,000)

No.2 Oops!... I Did It Again (990,000)

No.4 Britney (385,000)

No.13 In The Zone (495,000)

No.2 Greatest Hits: My Prerogative (810,000)

No.2 Blackout (?,???,??? - :P)

"In The Zone" peaked at No.13 but it ended selling better than "Britney". It debuted at No.14 but it rose again and peaked at No.13 on the strength of the third single "Everytime".

Can't believe Britney and In The Zone are her worst selling albums, I think apart from Blackout they have some of her best work in them. -_-

That's a good question considering she actually did promo for that album and the lead single charted at #2.

I'm glad this album managed #2 without any promo! :yahoo: Good sales considering the circumstances too.

How much did Blackout sell this week in the UK?

Spears’ last studio album, In The Zone (2003), debuted at number 14 and peaked at number 13 but the number three success of introductory single Gimme More help follow-up Blackout to make a much more convincing debut at number two on sales of 42,207. First appearances aren’t everything, however, and despite its low peak In The Zone has sold 526,748 copies – more than the 454,534 copies 2001 predecessor, and number four hit, Britney sold. Overall sales of Spears albums in the UK since her 1999 debut are a commendable 4,001,255.

Blackout - 42,207

In The Zone (Sales Update) - 526,748

Britney (Sales Update) - 454,534

Overall Album Sales - 4,001,255.

:o In The Zone and Britney sold much better than I thought :cheer: The sales I posted must've been from 2004!

42,000 is a great number for sales of an album without any promo and also charting at #2! :cheer:
