Her sexy collaberation with Jason Nevins is my chart number 1 for the third time, rounding off an eventful week in the music biz which saw Amy Winehouse mutter something on stage at the EMAs and Britney p!ss off half her fanbase on American radio. At #2 is Mary J Blige, who climbs two spots; it's becoming a yearly tradition now to give Mary heavy rotation in Winter time, and with good reason; 2005's The Breakthrough was an instant classic and last year her much-praised Greatest Hits was a chart success. In 2007, she's back, and the irony of Just Fine is that it's amazing! Dannii features again at #5 with the sublime Come And Get It, which features on her Unleashed rarities album released on Monday, and at #6 Alicia Keys makes a mega 11-spot climb with the brilliant No One, set to light up the charts next week. Below her is fellow American Nicole Scherzinger, whose addictive debut solo single Baby Love may also do big things. At #9 Tweet climbs a place to reach a new peak with buzz single Goodbye My Dear, worth checking out for the brilliant match of her own and TI's voices, and at #10 the Luciana-featured heavy dance track I Wish U Would, an undeserving flop, debuts. At #12 the Spice Girls' comeback Headlines remains static; let's hope the Geri-penned lyrics like 'I wanna show the world I'm giving it all to you' arent in reference to anything remotely sexual. Also non-movers below are Sugababes, with their Christmas smash-to-be Change, and at #14 miserable pop-rocker Avril Lavigne debuts with the fantastic Hot! #16 sees the arrival on my chart of Celine Dion - no, I didn't think I'd ever be playing host to the French diva - with her excellent new single Taking Chances, whilst the Sugababes feature yet again just below, climbing a place with their accomplished Arctic Monkeys cover. Kylie's good-but-not-Kylie comeback 2 Hearts moves up into 18th, and Jordin Sparks re-enters after a several week-long absence with the brilliant and memorable Tattoo.
