Posted November 3, 200717 yr Ok so i've opened this to discuss Arsenal V Man Utd, but it can be used later aswell ^_^ Quite a tight and edgy game so far, which is a slight disappointment after all the build-up, but then i guess we knew it'd all happen  The ref has been quite poor imo aswell, stopping the game for every little thing possible. 1-0 to Man Utd at half time.
November 3, 200717 yr Author Good goal? I appear to have missed it. Was alright, same sort of position from the one he blasted over last week against Liverpool, but he controlled it and slotted it into the corner this week ^_^
November 3, 200717 yr FFS, they're 2-1 up thanks to the annoying pesky so-in-so Ronaldo. I still havn't forgiven him for his World Cup antics. I've had enough, following football wanting Utd to finally have their chips is getting hopeless. After two seasons of 3rd place finishes, I was hoping a downward spiral would start, but oh no- Scholes comes back. Rugby is much better, will be following that from now on, as for starters we can play rugby and do so well in every major tournament unlike the football players!!. November 3, 200717 yr Author Fair do's to Man Utd, this result says a lot about the season ahead and about the 2 teams. This is now Man Utd's title to lose in my opinion. That said, not pleased with all the stop-start play today, and a lot seemed to be for "fouls" by Arsenal players, but then i guess im biased.
November 3, 200717 yr Why can't they be like Man City?, who show pride in playing football. Utd have to be all big headed and ar$ey about everything. Edited November 3, 200717 yr by Marcus
November 3, 200717 yr Why can't they be like Man City?, who show pride in playing football. Utd have to be all big headed and ar$ey about everything. What on EARTH are you talking about? I would hardly say getting hammered 6-0 and pretty much giving up after the first 3 is showing pride? How are they big-headed about everything? In all fairness though the Arsenal goal was coming. I would say same old, same old but they actually DESERVED a point this time. They had more possesion, chances, etc. In contrast a point for US at the Emirates is a better point than the one they've earned.
November 3, 200717 yr YES!!!, 2-2!!!!, f*ck you United you scum!!!!. That really isn't neccessary you know.
November 3, 200717 yr They're like "We've won this we've won that, we won't give up until we prove the world until we're #1!!!, blah-blah-blah!!!, we're so great!!!" Really annoys me. Man City usually show pride, but not that time.
November 3, 200717 yr Author A point at the Emirates is actually a VERY GOOD point for us. Yep im sitting here celebrating a point, but i'm not sure i should be tbh, if you get that  Much better point for Man Utd. Mixed opinions really
November 3, 200717 yr YES!!!, 2-2!!!!, f*ck you United you scum!!!!. Arsenal played the better football, but both teams deserved a point IMO ^_^
November 3, 200717 yr They're like "We've won this we've won that, we won't give up until we prove the world until we're #1!!!, blah-blah-blah!!!, we're so great!!!" Really annoys me. Man City usually show pride, but not that time. I suggest take a look around at EVERY top team in Europe - Chelsea [block budget spending to become the best] AC Milan, Juventus and many more I'm sure [resort to match-fixing to be the best], Barcelona & Real Madrid [again have inflated budgets, show the same determination and 'big-headidness' as United]. I really can't see where you're coming from it all. Just pointless biasy against a team that's obviously far more successful than you're own. Unlucky. Yep im sitting here celebrating a point, but i'm not sure i should be tbh, if you get that  Much better point for Man Utd. Yeah I'm actually quite angry that we got a point but I'm sure in retrospect, when I've calmed down, I'll be rather pleased with it. Still Arsenal retain an unbeaten home run and top of the League status so it's not too bad :P
November 3, 200717 yr As a neutral, I thought the match was very entertaining especially the second half. A draw was by far the fairest result.
November 3, 200717 yr Howard Webb is in love with his whistle  Every litle trip, foul, he blew instead of playing advantage
