And before the Leona fans try having a go at this thread, remember this is the Snow Patrol forum and Run is their song, Im just after opinions on the cover and I will NOT tolerate any Snow Patrol bashing in this thread.

Personally I think its an aweful cover of a brilliant Snow Patrol song...I would rather listen to Jessica Simpson's version of Angels -_- :puke:

Thats the thing about opinions ;) They're all different....I really can't picture a Snow Patrol song being sung by a female, its just not right :(

Have you even heard SP version. Gary Lightbody has a very beautiful voice. Gary shows emotion when he sings Run. Leona just turns it into a song for girls -_-

I like it! ^_^ Her voice sounds a bit stretched at times, but I think she sings it beautifully. Obviously she doesn't have a rock voice so it's had to change genre, which is probably where all the negative comments come in :P

I just plain don't like it, I couldn't think of any female artist that could cover Run and do it any justice. :(
