Even though Kylie releases on download this week, when she releases physically next week, I did not realise she was up against Spice Girls by downloads - which also releases this week (Spice Girls releases physically two weeks after). I am not sure if Kylie will be number one this week just by download. I was for certain that she was going to be at the top next week with the physicals, but since the Spice Girls' songs are talked about a lot (positive or negative), I fear that the Spice Girls might take over. As much as I DON'T want the Spice Girls to be number 1 by downloads next week, many might download them like crazy.

 

So, because there is already a poll on who WILL be number 1, my question is, who is more DESERVING to be number one?

 

Again, you can't say both or none - you have to make a choice.

I think both songs are a real dissapointment

 

Kylies song is awful for a comeback single.

 

Spice girls isnt great it will do

I think Kylie's song is really good, it's so different to anything else out there and after all she is like Madonna, always reinventing herself and her music. Would we really want another song that sounds like 'Can't Get You Out of My Head', that would be a disappointment

 

And has to the Spice Girls, yes it's not their best song but it is a really nice ballad and it's the Spice Girls the more I've listened to it the more I love it plus it's for children in need so think it needed to be this sort of song, and i could never see them doing a p*ssy cat dolls type song or girls aloud/sugababes.

 

SPICE GIRLS TO WIN FOR ME!!!!!

Hmm, for me, I have mixed feelings about both songs.

 

Kylie has a brand new style showing with 2 Hearts. It sounded different at first, but it really growed on me and I like the song now. Maybe not as good as her previous ones, but it still sounds good. It is very edgy and catchy at the same time.

 

Spice Girls' new song reminded me so much of Viva Forever (if not, almost the same). The song is OK, nothing special really. Like you said Chris, it is for Children in Need, I guess it's alright - but overall, I was really disappointed with the song. I have nothing against them - just that the song is not really that good. I don't mind them being number one on their physical week (which is the week after Kylie's physical release), but I want Kylie to win when she releases physically next week against Spice Girls' download.

 

Overall, for me, I am in favour for Kylie to win - her song is a bit better, in my opinion.

I have to go for Kylie. :wub: She's gone for something a bit different for HER. The Spicies have stuck to a safe formula.

Kylie most definitely, but it might struggle, she won't go to #1 this week that's for sure Leona will do at least 120k plus, for Kylie to chart on downloads only she will have to try and beat that, which is near impossible.

Spice Girls are POP icons, and they come back with a very poor ballad :( A SHAME.

 

While Kylie is trying to do something different, and it's kinda cool, and above all the album sounds AMAZING.

Kylie for me. The Spice Girls song is very, very weak.

I'm not that keen on both songs but I prefer Kylie's.

I vote NEITHER both songs are complete pants and I wouldn't have them on my I Pod for all the tea in China. I HATE RUBBISH COMEBACKS...

I cant believe how dissapointed by "2 Hearts" i am :(. This was THE comeback i was waiting for. And she comes back with that.

 

Compared to her absolutely AMAZING :wub: songs such as "Confide In Me" "Spinning Around" "In Your Eyes" "Love At First Sight" and "I Believe In You", 2 Hearts is awful.

 

Its beyond me, why she didnt lead "X" with "In My Arms" :(

The Spice Girls single is a half-hearted, bland, boring comeback - but isn't it this years' Children in Need single? Almost guaranteed number one if it is.

 

The Kylie single is an identical re-work of the Kish Mauve original - exactly the same, down to the breathy 'ahhhh's'. Totally unoriginal.

 

 

Kylie for me! 2 Hearts deserves to be Nr.1, at least for a week but I can't see it will be! This week is Leona, next more than likely Spice Girls... :( Actually I like the Spice Girls' song too, but 2 Hearts is my personal favourite now (with plays over 10-15 times daily :P)

Kylie, but I don't think she or the Spice Girls will get to no1 now.

Neither of them are brilliant comebacks...its not that either of them are bad because I quite like them both...they just don't compare in any way to their respective back catalogues

Spice girls, not just because its a charity song but because it is a better song, 2 hearts is just horrible and Spice girls beat kylie anyday.
