Posted November 7, 200717 yr PAlNMaxZVTk In the UK, the song Hate That I Love You is released. It is obvious that this song will be released after, but elsewhere in Europe, the song is already released. It is already number one in France, Austria, Switzerland and Germany (Link: http://acharts.us/song/27547). So, just to get the headstart of things, when this song releases in the UK, where will it chart? Edited November 7, 200717 yr by buzz_person
November 7, 200717 yr The record companies are stupid. Just why has the UK got to be isolated in having different releases than in the rest of Europe. Same as with Mika - his massive European hit, Relax Take It Easy is unreleased in the UK. This happens with many acts. To me it's just plain stupid.
November 7, 200717 yr Absolutely adore this song, but sadly it's far too late to be released here now as all momentum has gone. It would have been brilliant after Umbrella, but it's already been played to death in clubs and has sadly missed the boat to be the hit it deserves.
November 7, 200717 yr I wouldn't consider myself a Rhianna fan but I absolutely adore this song. 2FM here in Ireland seem to be giving it a lot of airplay at the moment. It would have made an excellent follow up to "Umbrella".
November 7, 200717 yr I think it could have been number 1 if it would have been the second or third single. As a 4th single I think only low top 10. :(
November 7, 200717 yr I don't think thi will get a relaese in the UK :( especially if she re-relaese GGGB!
November 7, 200717 yr Top 10. I do like the song but it's so overrated, it drives me crazy! All 3 singles so far are vastly better.
November 7, 200717 yr One of the best songs on her album (apart Breakin' Dishes) but I think it won't be released in the UK. If so, it can reach the lowest part of the Top10 only (It should have been released as a 2nd single!!!)
November 7, 200717 yr I think if it was released after 'Umbrella' it would have gone no.1 ... now, 3 singles down the line i reckon it will chart at no.7.
November 7, 200717 yr I reckon if it was out in January it could be a surprise #1, but yeah, should've been the 2nd single like in Germany, would've been a #1 smash back in September
November 7, 200717 yr around 6-8 but would of been alot higher if it was released second or third prob top 3
November 7, 200717 yr Everyone's pretty much saying the same thing, that it would have been huge if released after Umbrella (I agree). I wonder if the record company ever read these pages...
