November 11, 200717 yr I think it should be who ever sells the highest album should get number 1 besides she had her share of number 1 albums.
November 11, 200717 yr For once I agree with Jonny. Why in the first place did they not count anyways? It IS an album, it IS being legally purchased, just that Wally World holds a monopoly over it. Like Exodus said in the other thread, isn't it that impressive that they've sold 2.5 more times than Britney in just one retailer? OF COURSE it should count, and it's rather stupid if it doesn't. Agreed. Not so much about Britney not being #1 (because we would have all preferred that) but sales from all retailers should be counted.

November 12, 200717 yr it was 2 things: changing the rules at the last minute instead of the new year, and also the fact that the whole reason why exclusive albums could not top the billboard charts were because it was exclusive deal that they got paid for to do, thats why billboard created a separate chart for those albums, and this bull$h!t about the eagles selling twice as much and they were in only 1 store, HELLO it was Walmart, biggest f***in store...

Thank-you! Yhey deserved the sales but if part of the deal included not being on the chart, they should STICK to that. End of discussion.
