Hi lonesome cowboy.

Since the beginning of the re-issues Elvis has been selling around 9000 copies each week. His chart position seems to be determined by how many sales the other songs are selling in the 17 to 11 positions.

On a couple of occasions Elvis charted at 14 but was only around 250 copies short of hitting no.11.

It's unlikely that any of the remaining releases will hit the Top 10 but I'm fairly confident we can get a clean sweep of Top 20's!

I think it's the same 9000 peeps who are buying every week!! :cheer:

Hi Martin,

You're right, there has been a campaign to get the fans behind one particular release this time and it was believed that 'In The Ghetto' would stand the most realistic chance of a higher placing. I know that some fans have been emailing radio stations to encourage them to have it on their playlist. I really would love a Top 10 at least, but not as hopeful as I was at the beginning of the campaign :( I'm doing my bit anyway in that I shall be getting an extra copy, not for myself, but for someone who doesn't buy singles, but loves the song (my Mum :wub: ) If everyone does the same, maybe, just maybe............. B)
