I agree, although it's always lovely to see Will on tv. I hope he stays away. We don't know how Will will fair in the future but one thing I'm sure of even if his sales do dry up we won't see him on such a show. For Will it really is all about the music & not the fame.

Can one of you guys explain something to me please. Youtube......there are thumbs up & thumbs down icons for you to grade the comments....apart from totting up the score does this 'do' anything else.

 

Also I notice some remarks which I gather are the vile homaphobic ones...are deleted or hidden. Is it only the person who hosts the video who can do this or if something is really offensive can it be reported?

What they don't highlight (and probaly why it paid off) is that Will made that decision when his career was in the ascendancy not when his star began to wane because for him it has always been about the music not about the fame.

As you say munchkin it was the making of Will but then I doubt he could have worked any other way, being the perfectionist & control freak he is.

 

I agree , when Will 'disappeared' for a year, he made his own choices on the music he liked and wanted to do and not because he'd started to flop in his career. I'm sure Will knows the score and like he's said before, he's never been 'flavour of the month' anyway, but I'm sure he'll always be pretty successful in the music industry, I think we all know that he'll never sell the huge amounts again like he did at the start of his career, but it's always been about the music and not the fame for Will. I'm sure he'll sell enough for him and his label to be happy with though. :D

 

Out of three album's...For Kelly this was the first album she really wanted to make....and to make matters worse it hasn't been well received...going in a new direction is good..if it works..to help it work though you should give your fan base a gentle nudge..With FC Will did his half and half album..showing his new direction but also having some familiar sounds..he took his time with his music and with us..and it worked wonderfully.

You also have to have more than a great singing voice to make a great album on your own..you have to know music..you have to have a feel for it... with Will it has worked because right from the start he knew what he wanted..he knew what was right for him and he fought for it..although he counts FC as his first real effort he still had a lot of input in his first..even fighting for FL to be on there when others at his label doubted it's place...it was that single that showed others outside that there might just be more to him..a masterstroke IMO...one he has repeated a few times since..Very Kind..Home..SIO..to name a few..he keeps his fans on their toes..but also the critics..we can't second guess him and neither can they. that makes him interesting.

this Dreamkatchers Track being prime example..he has no Genre..yet he can dabble in many..others can't or just haven't the skill to do that.

It was Mario a Greek fan :lol: He posted that Will is well known in Greece he is played but Mario says they don't know what he looks like :P

 

actually Will is well known over here.......musically wise.Songs of him play on and of on the radio but actually i don't think most of them know how he looks like....poor them
