A little snippet in the Star today, thanks to Lemonade on the official site. finding someone with a voice like Will Young? Darren, I'm disappointed with you, there isn't anybody with a voice like Will Young's. :nono: As for Leona, try yellow pages. :lol:

At least it proves he rates Will. :) :D Just hasn't realised they broke the mould with Will but I'm sure he'll have no problem finding plenty of whistle singers. :P

Just read an interesting blog snippet - looks like the latest supermodel Agyness Deyn knows Will from way back - the You And I vid presumably.

 

 

It was around 5 years ago that Wade and Agyness did a Will Young video together, they had to play table football and pretend to be his friend for 500 quid for the afternoon, result. Wade was in his modeling prime at the time, but Agyness was pretty new to the game. During the shoot Wade ended up doing magic mushrooms, and I guess looking at both of their career trajectories since then, we are glad that Agyness didn't pick up any of his bad habits.

Thanks TT, I've just watched the video over on youtube and Agyness is the girl who gets a hug from Will after they've won the table tennis game, so that's how they're friends. :D

"They have a great cafe in these studios, but when you're recording it can be hard to remember to eat well. You can forget to eat all day because you're concentrating on the job in hand. I try to take stuff with me now when I'm recording, some fruit or some nuts and raisins maybe, to keep my energy going.

 

"I haven't really had to eat too much weird food when I've been on tour. Actually, I eat quite well. We have great caterers. I can't eat before a show, so they try to make me have a salad or something afterwards. The strangest thing I have eaten was when I was travelling in Africa. I was on a 12-hour bus journey from Mombasa to Dar es Salaam and lunch was included with your ticket. They told me it was fish and chips, and I thought, Wow! Great! That was until it arrived, and I discovered it was a fish head surrounded by boiled potatoes. Still, I made a bit of an effort."

 

Will's fourth album will be released this autumn and he will be on tour during 2008.

Thanks TT. I don't want to put a downer on your happiness but I can't see him touring this year. I reckon it's the festivals they are referring to. Will's not even sure when the album is going to be released let alone see how it's going to sell so he can organise a tour.

I think so F/G with possibly a few one off gigs. Didn't someone report Will had a few treats lined up. Like munchkin I can't see there being a tour until next year though I'd love to be wrong.
