Only at my fella's place TT - but at least it's was a change from my 4 walls, and I was waited on to such an extent I didn't even have to make a cup of tea. Keep wanting to do bits and pieces, especially in the garden, but I'm still not able to do more than about 15 minutes bending at a time. Go to see the doclady this afternoon for my monthly check.

Glad to hear he's loking after you. :D Hope all goes well this afternoon.

Hi Chrysalis - good to 'see' you.

Hello peeps - bit late logging on today - :D

"They have a great cafe in these studios, but when you're recording it can be hard to remember to eat well. You can forget to eat all day because you're concentrating on the job in hand. I try to take stuff with me now when I'm recording, some fruit or some nuts and raisins maybe, to keep my energy going.

"I haven't really had to eat too much weird food when I've been on tour. Actually, I eat quite well. We have great caterers. I can't eat before a show, so they try to make me have a salad or something afterwards. The strangest thing I have eaten was when I was travelling in Africa. I was on a 12-hour bus journey from Mombasa to Dar es Salaam and lunch was included with your ticket. They told me it was fish and chips, and I thought, Wow! Great! That was until it arrived, and I discovered it was a fish head surrounded by boiled potatoes. Still, I made a bit of an effort."

Will's fourth album will be released this autumn and he will be on tour during 2008.

See willyoung.co.uk for details.

Hope the footnote is accurate.

Thanks for bringing it over TT

This studio is owned by Trevor horn :D

SARM Studios must certainly be in the top 10 studios of the World. Owned by producer Trevor Horn, they offer a unique range of environments ranging from the awesome Hook End Manor Studios (see above) to the main complex in a fashionable district of West London. All of their studios provide excellence combined with a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

SARM Studios are located just off the Portobello Road in London's very trendy and vibrant Notting Hill Gate. The studios, owned by Trevor Horn and Jill Sinclair, are regarded as one of the top studio facilities in the UK. Managed by Lola Weidner, the studio has one of the best maintenance departments in town and the food cooked by Marco is excellent!

Do you think Will was working there when they went along to interview him or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Trevor Horn and Will's usual producer Steve Lipson are friends, they play in the same group along with Chris Braide. Steve had a recording studio not far away in Willesden Green, but I have a feeling he sold it. It's possible that he's using Trevor Horn's place now if he's working with Will, or maybe it was Chris & Will together, Sunday found a new song they'd written. ;)

I love reading all these snippets - thanks everyone. What I really like is the fact that Will appears now to be acknowledged by so many of his peers - real musicians. It's been a hard ride, but he's got there.

I had an e-mail card to-day from a friend, and the wording is "Great Oaks from little acorns grow". That sums up Will.

Ooh. Has she posted on D?

P.S. Just had a look - can't see anything. How did you find out Marguerite?

Thanks for the reminder re the Producer's connection Marguerite. :D

Following through on the link Sunday put up re: Trevorn Horn's studio, I found an interview with Steve Lipson and he's talking about the room he has in these studios.

He has moved there from Willesden like I thought, so I wouldn't think there's much doubt that it was Steve Will was working with when the piccie was taken for Waitrose. :D

Good detective work. Wonder when the piccie was taken, before or after Will was working with Biff.

The return of Will Young

By Nick Levine, Music Editor

It's been all quiet on the Will Young front lately - in fact, his most recent single, 'Who Am I', was released two years ago this very day.

However, the Pop Idol champ seems to be preparing for a big comeback later this year. After playing an intimate gig at Ronnie Scott's in London earlier this month, he's recently confirmed summer festival appearances at Glastonbury, Bestival and T in the Park.

Now he's posted a message on his official site saying he's "really looking forward to doing the festival dates" and advising fans to expect "a few new songs, some old stuff... and the album". Our contact at Will's label reckons said album should be with us "by the end of the year". Hurrah!

To tide you over until then - or at least for the next four minutes and 16 seconds - here's a reminder of Will's finest ever moment:
