I'm sure he isn't. I bet his money is invested wisely too. :)

Simon Fullers set to receive Roll Of Honour

By Paul Williams

Spice Girls and Pop Idol mastermind to win Roll Of Honour award at this week’s ceremony, 23 years after forming management company for Paul Hardcastle

Simon Fuller’s status as one of the most successful artist managers of all time will be recognised this week when he receives the top accolade at the MMF’s Roll of Honour.

The 19 Entertainment founder and chief executive will this Wednesday pick up the Peter Grant Award for outstanding achievements in management at a ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel on London’s Park Lane.

Previous recipients of the award, which was named in honour of the late Led Zeppelin manager in 1996, have included Bill Curbishley, Paul McGuinness and Tony Smith. Fuller says he is very happy to receive this award from the MMF. “It is even more special knowing that it is recognition from my peers,” he says. “From my teenage years I was passionate about managing artists, and to this very day I still get excited about the work I do and feel privileged to still be living my dream after so many years.

Music week

Thanks sunday - Simon is not quite so 'faceless' these days is he. :D He publicly supports Will so there's no reason why Will can't return the compliment. I can't see him not going to thr wedding either.

Thanks sunday and TT for the articles. As munchkin says I can't see any reason why Will shouldn't be at either - provided of course he has an invite - but if he hasn't then he could always gatecrash!! Oh for new pics. :D This waiting is getting to me, and my back hurts. :(

I'm sure you're right munchkin. I was so pleased when I saw him in the row behind me at the LN gig. He doesn't show such public support for all 19 signings, which leads me to believe there is a genuine friendship between the two.

Me too. We all tend to gravitate towards a like-minded other don't we and Will and Simon sang from the same hymn book from the start.

And am I glad that they did - the alternative doesn't bear thinking about. :arrr: In fact in many ways thank god for Simon Fuller, as I don't think we'd be here now, as Will certainly wouldn't have put up with SC.

I'll always remember the Brits 2003, and Simon F sitting next to him. I knew then something was about to happen - and sure enough it did - Will's first Brit. :yahoo:

I've got a screencap someone did and Will is looking at Simon in astonishment with his curled hand close to his mouth as if to say "What the..... did you know about this?" and Simon is grinning at him. I loved that moment.

I haven't got an upload site but have loaded it to Devoted in the test Forum under Help & Advice as a thumbnail. Sorry it's so convoluted but this site won't allow me to bring the picture over. I couldn't find the picture on either of the sites. I could have uploaded to the gallery but you have to wait for approval and didn't think it was worth the wait.

Thanks TT - amazing how much I miss the "Thumbnail" facility of D already

It's a real pain not being able to bring pix across from there though - this site won't allow them in the format D uses.
