Posted November 9, 200717 yr Could someone please let me know what songs Delta and Gary wrote together (or songs he wrote for her) also what albums they appear on. Or direct me to a thread that already exists here. Many thanks! Norma
November 10, 200717 yr I love the songs she did with Gary. I wish they had done something together on the new album too! I suppose Gary's too busy with TT now though :(!
November 11, 200717 yr Not Me, Not I A Little Too Late Throw It Away (Gary and Elliot wrote for Delta) Butterfly Thats off the top of my head
November 11, 200717 yr Author Not Me, Not I A Little Too Late Throw It Away (Gary and Elliot wrote for Delta) Butterfly Thats off the top of my head Thanks so far everyone! I knew he'd written one called Butterfly for / with her and when I saw the hidden track on Beautiful World was called Butterfly I thought they'd covered one of his own songs ... but since been told its a completely different one. November 11, 200717 yr Author Not Me Not I  Is it any good? My niece really likes Delta Goodrem but I've never heard any of her stuff. Norma Edited November 11, 200717 yr by Norma_Snockers
November 11, 200717 yr not me not I is just an amazing piece of music...You should buy all her albums, each one is so individual and heartfelt with a story to tell...Delta's a very rare artist, she just glows talent, her music has helped me in some of my darkest hours, and many others, i would 100% recommend you to get into her music...:) I sound like a freak :P

Besides ... I'm a freak when it comes to Take That! Norma
November 16, 200717 yr Author I didn't realise he helped to write Not me not I! Love that song  He's done lots of stuff for other people. I think all of that Robbie Williams boasting about himself and telling everyone how c**p Gary Barlow was must really have dented the guy's confidence. Thank goodness for people like Delta, Charlotte Church, Lucie Silvas, Russell Watson and Katherine Jenkins and even Blue for keeping his spirits up until the inevitable Take That comeback! Norma
November 18, 200717 yr Yeah I'm a big Lucie fan so knew he'd written for her but didn't really know who else he'd written for. He's a great songwriter!
November 19, 200717 yr I was about to say, the only connection off the top of my head was through Lucie  I didn't realise he co-wrote NMNI either :o
November 19, 200717 yr Author Yeah I'm a big Lucie fan so knew he'd written for her but didn't really know who else he'd written for. He's a great songwriter! I'm not sure he actually wrote anything with Lucie now. She did some backing vocals for him once and he listened to some of the stuff she wrote - he loved it and told her so and from there I think he was just a bit of a support / mentor for a while. Norma

Norma As far as I'm aware, the only song they ever wrote together which ended up recorded was "I'll Never Know" on Michelle McManus' album! I guess they wrote other things together aswell, but none of it was ever right for their albums?
