Somehow I doubt if the motorists or suspects (ie, they've NOT been tried or convicted of any offence...) who are the subjects of progs like "Cops" or "Police Camera Action" are being asked permission to appear on these shows or sign any waivers.... Well, considering that CCTV cams are practically fukkin' everywhere, they might not even necessarily know they're being filmed... Dontcha get it....? Couples who want a shag aint gonna necessarily stop and think, "oh, wait a minute, what if there's a CCTV camera around in this dark alley...?". And you seriously underestimate the voyeuristic tendencies of about 50% of this country mate if you dont think there are loads people who would like to watch it. And "mentality"??? What do intellectual thoughts and processes have to do with what turns people on, that is purely biological, you could be an eminent Professor or Doctor and get turned on by being tied up, whipped and dominated or by watching others have sex....

but again i cant see them being 'wrong', just look how many crimes have been sorted due to cctv pics, holly wells jessica chapman were seen heading towards huntleys place, maybe without that footage he would have been at large longer.. like dna, cctv benefits far outweigh the negatives.

Nah, I think police would've caught up with him regardless... That's not necessarily true. The girls knew Huntley becuase his girlfriend was a teaching assistant at their school. Huntley was caretaker at a different school. They could still have known him if he'd worked at a local factory.
