February 23, 200817 yr I'm not sure that everybody in the box office in Edinburgh knew who he was, but there was a sudden silence as everybody stopped to look when he came in. His hair was very untidy with his waves falling all over and he was wearing those camouflage trousers which are not at all flattering. An aura, charisma..............It was the same with Natasha that day. The old woman beside me 'knew' that Natasha had to be somebody, despite the fact she was dressed down and just looked like a Mum with her son.
February 24, 200817 yr Author In the theatre, people who had no idea who he was, were blown away by him. It wasn't the name, it was the personality on the stage. Mind you, in 'Guys and Dolls' Shaun impressed me in a similar way.
February 24, 200817 yr I'd go back to see Shaun Williamson any time. I'd even travel to see Shaun. I think it's a shame he won'tconsider working in the US. Extras has been very popular over there. I suppose he must know his own mind and prefer "poor but happy".
February 24, 200817 yr Author Good. - that's how I would describe him. I went to see 'Guys and Dolls' the first time to see Patrick Swazey but, good as he was, I thought Shaun was even better.
February 24, 200817 yr Did Patrick Swazey start off in theatre/musicals? I first remember him in the TV series North and South which was a straight dramatic role.
February 25, 200817 yr Author I know he did theatre early in his career but I don't know the order it came in.
February 26, 200817 yr I really liked Patrick in North and South and then again in Ghost. He really looked as if he'd lost his good looks in the pictures I saw from London.
February 26, 200817 yr Author That's because it's a pic. You need his vitality in a moving picture to appreciate him. Darius looks better in the flesh as well.
