It's great that many more people now appreciate that Darius is pretty good at MT and compliment him on it.

However at a time when we're desperate for him to concentrate on his music and get the album finished, I'm a bit concerned all that appreciation, with interviewers going so far as to tell him directly that the West End needs him back might just eat into his determination to concentrate on the album and he'll consider leaving the door open for MT offers in 2008.

Duncan james is returning to chicago to play billy flynn in january.

I thought Duncan, Brenda and Amra Faye Wright were returning to the cast this week.

Were there 2 shows on Wednesday and did Darius do both, or have I just misinterpreted what he said ?

The matinee was an invitation only dresss rehearsal. I couldn't afford to get in.

The cheapest price bracket was £20,000. You did get several invites for that though.

Have you typed too many zeroes there, megham?

I tried phoning the charity - to see if there was a way to get a ticket I could afford but, no chance. Even if I had that kind of money, I wouldn't have paid that anyway.

Was the afternoon show also for breast cancer?

If it was, then fair enough if some companies and individuals were willing to pay that donation for the experience.

If you bought the £20,000 pound tickets you had 10 seats for the rehearsal/afternoon show, pre show drinks, best seats and after show party.

So yes it was all for cancer.

There were other tickets that also got you to everything but I can't remember which.

for £80,000 I would have wanted get everywhere...

mind you there are plenty of people who have way too much money, so if it was for charity it is better than them buying a silly Rolex watch - which they all seem to like wasting money on.

I heard a chap paid £83,000 to get a front row seat for Led Zeplins new concert on the news!!! it boggles my mind how anyone could justify that amount of money on a concert.

I'd have liked to have gone. They ar a terrific group. I wouldn't have spent that much though.

I listened to Led Zep and bought their records.......but wouldn't have paid that much.

It would have been good to be there.

I could be wrong but I don't think anyone has posted the link to the Press Association's little video

Be patient, though. As usual the lovely Darius is at the tail end.

Sorry, I see the link doesn't get you directly to the video, just the main page - just type Darius into the search this site box at the top.
