November 11, 200717 yr so she'll be at like 560,000/570,000 next week :o well maybe coz people will just start to go out and buy the album instead.
November 11, 200717 yr TT's sales for the same period must surely be coming in close to 200,000 then? Not bad ... not bad at all. I bet there's a lot of songs that did make number one didn't hit those numbers. Norma
November 11, 200717 yr Take That have done well too... how much have they sold now? I think Leona will stay #1 next week, unless Kylie can sell over 70k of course.

I was one of those who wasn't fond of the song - and I'm still undecided (although I do appreciate she has a really good voice). I just think that Kylie's song is just not very good at all and to say it is a disappointment would be an understatement. But good on her (or her record company) for having the balls to stick to the release date. Norma

November 11, 200717 yr Take That should slide to under 30k next week, and Kylie should easily do more than that right?
November 11, 200717 yr Take That should slide to under 30k next week, and Kylie should easily do more than that right? Yes she should, to get to #1 she will have to do 90k plus, it seems a bit steep for her, just have to wait and see.
November 11, 200717 yr Yes she should, to get to #1 she will have to do 90k plus, it seems a bit steep for her, just have to wait and see. Well she'll definitely have number 2 in the bag. Just hope TT can stay top 5. With the tour resuming its UK leg next week RTW should hopefully stick around the chart until Christmas. There was talk of them doing a New Year's Eve concert at the Dome too, to be televised live on ITV1 ... but we shall have to see if there is any truth in that (it was via the Sun after all - that oracle of truthfulness). Norma
November 11, 200717 yr Brilliant to see Leona now the highest selling single of the year so far!! If she keeps going, i wonder if there is a chnace if she may be the highest selling single of the year? Just cos at the moment - it does look likely it will sell at least another 200,000 copies i reckon by the end of the year at least! (Actually, the way its going - it could even make the million mark!) and i wonder if the X Factor winner will be able to make enough copies to get to Leona's sales in a 2 week period? I think Bleeding Love's sales could go either way next week. I'm sure the album will no doubt be #1 and sell 300,000 copies in a week - i reckon. (Could be more!) Now whether people will continue to buy the single like they have done is hard to work out. Its sales have been falling and went down 50,000 this week. With an album out with the single on it, i think sales may go down to around 50-70,000 copies next week. And i think Kylie may come out with a similar figure to that so i reckon it will be a close run between #1 and #2 next week
November 11, 200717 yr leona releasing the album will indeed lower singles sales,i forgot that but she will still sell well,im hoping kylie can get the number 1 but i wudnt be confident she will
November 11, 200717 yr I'm not so sure Kylie's sales will be anywhere near enough to challenge at the top of the charts. I wouldn't be surprised if she sells in the region of 35-40,000 and that won't be enough. Infact if Take That's song stableises this week it could be more of a battle for second place.
November 12, 200717 yr Take That should slide to under 30k next week, and Kylie should easily do more than that right? I think they'll probably drop to less the 15k this week ... if folk want the song they'll buy the album re-release. Why pay £3 for a single when you can pay £11 the same week and get all the extras. Norma
November 12, 200717 yr "Slow" only sold 30 odd thousand copies in it first week, and I'd imagine 2 Hearts will pull in the same. Bleeding Love is really huge competition and I don't think Kylie can topple that. I don't think the Spice Girls will either.
November 12, 200717 yr Isn't it just great to hear though that people think 30,000 sales won't be enough - a few weeks ago it would have been more than enough!
November 12, 200717 yr I think Leona will stay at number one. Even if her sales half this week, thats still 50/60k. Kylie's song is nowhere near as good to beat that.

Norma It isn't a new album for Take That though its not as if its going to sell huge amounts like the original album has.
November 12, 200717 yr Shame TT are slipping a bit in sales now :( I really do love the track as embarassing as it sounds - it has a real Christmasy/by the fire when it snows outside feel to it  I'd like to see it make the top 10 of the year to oust all that awful RNB $h!t but hey ho. Fabulous for Leona <33 They may just manage to do that. Total sales so far being 197,700 should see them inside the top 20 already. Although its sales will start slipping - they should remain stead when they are back on home soil for the last leg of the tour. Having said that - I'd rather the single sales figures slip if it means sales of the album will increase. Either way, Take That will have three tunes in the top 50 singles of the year by Christmas. I'm just glad that they've proved their comeback wasn't just a one-hit wonder which is what a lot of folk predicted. By the way good on Leona. Now that she's seen off my favourite band .... I kind of want her to take some more scalps leading to the festive season! Norma
November 12, 200717 yr It isn't a new album for Take That though its not as if its going to sell huge amounts like the original album has. It does have quite a few extras on it though. The videos to the four songs (and I think the video for RTW is an extended version) and there's also a couple of b sides and the documentary/interview. We've had reviews from some German fans (who've got it already for some weird reason) and they've done a damn good selling job. I think the album will make top 10 easily (fingers crossed). Norma
