November 13, 200717 yr Author I love this song and the whole sarcasticness of it. She's saying that fame and fortune isnt everything, friends and family are worth way more. But once some people get fame and fortune, they couldnt care less about their friends, they dont think they need any friends because they have money and can afford to have everything delivered to their door. And Pink is being sarcastic about it in this song Probably my fav line in the song: "And I'm so busy buying things and traveling the world I don't have time for friends Or family And that's fine with me So it seems" Although the song doesnt mean anything to me personally, I think the lyrics are great and would love to hear this one performed
November 14, 200717 yr This is an amazing song. Really darkish, and the lyrics :wub: DEEP! Really one of my faves lyrically. This song has a great meaning to me, cuz it's the way I feel about it aswell. Family and friends are the most important in your life. And laura, was going to do something like this, something like, Define the songs, go through the whole song and try and figure out what is meant with the lyrics :D
November 16, 200717 yr This is a very good song, especially in terms of lyrics. I love Pink's songs that show her more vulnerable side. It's kind of along the same lines of Nobody Knows- it talks about loneliness. Favourite lyrics from this song: "I wouldn't trade a dollar for some sense I wouldn't trade a lifetime for some friends I've got everything And all is what it seems" Good idea btw :) It would be interesting to see people's comments on Long Way To Happy, as I've heard many different interpretations of that song.
