I agreed with what she said about the Dolls. She said it wasn't fair that her lyrics were bleeped but they can dance around wearing almost nothing.

 

Lily Allen's album is terrific so I think that gives her some license to mouth off. But she could tone it down a bit.

I think she's quite similar to The Streets, and that's a big compliment

 

If she quietens down a bit and lets the music speak for itself then maybe she can have a lasting career, but at the moment her sales are mostly based on hype

Yep, that cow did since she said Kylie's music isn't rock so she doesn't deserve to headline Glastonbury but ironically, her music is also pop. -_-

i like her.... people have been slagging off each other since time began! and most of her quotes are taken out of context (which she clearly revealed on last weeks buzzcocks).

I'm not keen on her music, but after "..Buzzcocks" I kinda warmed to her more as a person, and frankly when you look at these things she says in the cold light of day, well there's not really that much inaccuracy if we're being honest.... It's refreshing to see an artist who doesn't particularly want impressionable kids to be influenced by them (which is essentially the whole point she was trying to make)...

 

She's spot on about the Pussycat Slags as well.. They're near-as-dammit encouraging teen girls (who is the age bracket they're being marketed at..) to be strippers and whores, detestable....

 

I wont say how I reckon they managed to get their record deal, but I'm betting it involved being on all fours quite a lot.... -_-

...she's such a skank. All she does is slate other artists and she's not even good herself! Smile was the most droany piece of c**p. LDN was Ok, but wtf is going on with her new song? Most over-rated artist of the year, glad her album's flopping.

Thing is most of the time it's not just her going into rants. She's always in a lose-lose situation with the media. They ask her who she thinks is the most overrated person in pop. She say's Madonna and gets slated for it whereas if she's have said no one she'd probably still have been slated for not having an opinion :rolleyes:

What gets me is that it's perfectly fine for people on messageboards and in real life can slag off Madonna, Robbie, Oasis, U2, Mariah or whoever to their hearts content but then the same people slag new music stars when they slag them off because they haven't achieved as much. Beasaus you've sold 100m albums worldwide haven't you... :rolleyes:
