Universal Studios I love going here, it’s such a fun day out with a group of friends or family. I have good memories from visiting Universal. November 12, 200915 yr Leona’s X Factor blog http://www.leonalewismusic.co.uk/images/sized/assets/images/uploads/X_Factor_2_sc-240x188.jpg Hi everyone! Hope you’re well! I’m having such a great week and enjoying being in London! X Factor on Sunday was incredible, it’s so nerve-racking to go back on that stage in front of the judges. It was my third time doing it since winning and it doesn’t get any easier! I went on Paul O Grady’s show on Monday, great fun! He is such a lovely man. He’s really into animals, like me, and I sat with him and his new rescue dog for a while after the show talking about all the animals he’s adopted! I’m so excited about the Children In Need concert. Gary Barlow has put it all together and it’s going to be such a great event! I rehearsed with the orchestra earlier this week and they sounded amazing! There’s going to be some really awesome performances - I hope I get to go round front and watch them! My single ‘Happy’ is out this week!! It’s the first song from my new album Echo came out on Monday and I really hope you all like it. Thank you so much to everyone that supports me. You guys are incredible and I can’t tell you how much it is appreciated! You’re the best! January 11, 201015 yr Leona’s First Blog of 2010! Happy New Year to everyone! I hope 2010 brings you all your heart desires! I managed to grab some time off over Christmas and it was great being with family and friends. I then spent NYE in Vegas, which was so much fun! (I’ve got to say thanks to Amy at Planet Hollywood and Jake at Bank/Yellowtail for taking good care of us!!!) We saw in the New Year with Robin Thicke performing, I’m a huge fan so that was definitely a treat! While I remember - if you get to go to Vegas anytime soon you must go and see ‘O’, it’s such a mind blowing show! I sat through the whole thing with my mouth wide open! Amazing! I came off my horse last week. It was really scary, and a tad painful, but I’m ok and got straight back on!! Right now I’m getting ideas ready and organised for my tour. It’s keeping me really busy, but it’s so much fun! I’m also really excited (and nervous!) to be doing a Live Lounge at Radio 1 later this month, so watch out for that!! Love to you all, Leona x http://www.leonalewismusic.co.uk/gb/blog/d...t_blog_of_2010/ Edited January 11, 201015 yr by Rain
January 29, 201015 yr Leona’s Haiti appeal blog Hi everyone! I hope your New Year is going well, and you’re heading in the direction of achieving your goals! I just wanted to touch on Haiti as it has really affected me and I’m sure all of you too. I’m so heartbroken by the images I’ve seen in the media and I wish I could go out there and join the efforts to help. I would be on the next plane…but I know that would not help as much as me spreading awareness through my sites, donations, the song for Haiti and my newly devised auction that I will be holding shortly. Make sure you check back here as I will be auctioning off some valuables and also a chance to do something fun with me!!! Please keep on donating in any way that you can. I’ve had an eventful January so far. The most exciting thing was the Golden Globes! It was such an honour to attend. The speeches were touching and Ricky Gervais gave us a laugh while presenting. I got to meet Taylor Lautner from The Twighlight saga which was quite exciting, I luv those films! Samuel L Jackson approached me and said he enjoyed my work, which I was blown away by! Oh, and Daniel Day Lewis came and had a chat with me and said he watched me during X-Factor with his family, and he’s a fan! Wow wow wow! So as you can tell I was pretty excited being there! I then came back to London and performed in the Radio1 Live Lounge which was really cool. The band were awesome and gave it their all as usual - thank you all for sharing your wonderful talents! I’m now in Japan, and you may already know that it’s my favourite place. The people are lovely and polite and there’s a good atmosphere here, I wish I could speak the language but I don’t let that get in the way! God bless, Lots of love, Leona http://www.leonalewismusic.co.uk/gb/blog/d...ti_appeal_blog/ Edited January 29, 201015 yr by Savio
