Kylie - Slow Slow is one of those really rare songs; effortlessly incredible, something breathtaking, from the very first listen to the latest however many years later. It really is nothing like anything Kylie has ever done, or is likely ever to do again; a completely stripped-back, basic R&B beat with a breathey, sexy vocal. My absolute favourite part is the bridge; she sounds pretty much ready to orgasm when she purrs 'Feel my body language'! http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z165/Jark101/minogue60.jpg Slow was released in the UK to absolutely massive press attention; Kylie's previous album Fever was (and is) the biggest success of her career to date, selling 1.8 million copies - that's 6 times platinum - in the UK alone. Ultimately 2003's Body Language was never going to do anything like as well, ultimately shifting 400,000 copies in the UK, but Slow still achieved #1, and remains Kylie's most recent number one, with the five singles that following all charting between numbers 2 and 6. 1. Dannii - You Won't Forget About Me It's the summer of 2004; the previous year Dannii Minogue has released two massive UK Top 5 singles, the biggest of which, her now-signiature tune I Begin To Wonder, was a bigger success than sister Kylie's lead single for the year, Slow. How to follow that? For Dannii the answer was to go clubbing! She joined All Around The World records, the UK's biggest independant dance label, in early 04 and began recording with a view to putting out a studio album. Most people thought this track would be absolutely massive upon release; it was achieving huge club success and getting great reviews from fans and critics alike. Ultimately the release would suffer setbacks as well as stocking issues, as well as a general lack of promotion, leading to a position of #7 and a very sharp drop off the charts, which marked the beginning of Dan's commercial downfall. However, we all know she'll bounce back soon, bigger than ever. Hopefully with something as incredible as this.
December 19, 200717 yr Kylie - Slow - Bizarre #1 dude. I do quite like it though, sexy electro-pop number that I imagine would be perfect to make love to (must try it one day :lol:). Dannii - You Won't Forget About Me - For me this is one of Dannii's best efforts, and sadly it was probably her last shot at a #1. :(
December 19, 200717 yr i like slow alot its not my fave but i enjoy it alot and love the live version of the song on body language dvd, i'm not keen on dannii's you wont forget about me personally, i have prefered many of her other singles
