The video's cheap, nasty and panders to the most simple of heterosexual men.

true.... but pop vids do...

anyway im against overtly sexual imagery being used to sell music, whatever its taste. is it any wonder that theres so many schoolgirl mums with this imagery being used all the time?.. nah, leave porn where it belongs.

Where ...in a 50 Cent video ?? ^_^

What I REALLY hate about the marketing behind dance music is the bizarre idea that only lads actually go clubbing.

EVERY dance mag, in their listings sections... looking at the photos of the clubbers - you could swear no males go clubbing anymore - it's all scantily clad tarty looking girls with fluffy bras and glo-sticks.

Misery of Sound albums... ALWAYS have chav birds wrapped round each other in states of undress on the covers - same with almost all other dance compilations.

It's sexism to the hilt... I simply don't buy these mags or CDs anymore.

And this Prydz video is just vile, pervy and laughable.

Not sure about Rob's comment regarding vids for the gay men - I must've missed those.....

That's a good point mate, contrast that with fanzines and mags such as Meltdown, Skin Two, etc, centring around Industrial/Cybergoth/EBM/Fetish scenes, a pretty much 50/50 ratio...

'Call On Me' by Eric Prydz holds the record for being JDL's Longest Running #01 Song. In 2004, 'Call On Me' spent 12 weeks at #01, and contined its success throughout 2005, spending more than 56 weeks in JDL's Top 40.

the video was totally obscene, certainly unfit for broadcasting where young viewers could see it... god, no wonder theres so many underage std's, pregnancies etc...

the song itself could be called a clever mix of a looped sample set to a dance beat.... other could call it very unimaginative, and the sort of tripe thats killed off dance as a respectable genre.
