Posted November 15, 200717 yr Article : http://www.culturedeluxe.com/news_item.asp?id=3025 After a long series of will they / won't they comeback rumours and the news last week that Kevin Shields is finally working on new material with the band, we can confirm that My Bloody Valentine have reformed and have announced a trio of gigs next summer. The four-piece will play shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow in June and July although there is no confirmation as yet that they will play a spring gig at the Coachella festival. Tickets go on sale tomorrow - Friday 16th November - at 9am. Be quick!
November 16, 200717 yr I also posted something about MBV here -_- Anyway I hope it would be a great comeback of this legendary band
November 16, 200717 yr My GOD, this is just absolutely spectacular news..... I've seen these guys play live twice and frankly they were two of the most amazing live experiences I ever had, the things these guys can do with sound is just off the scale, the likes of Mogwai, Radiohead, Isis, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Arcade Fire, and LOADS of others owe everything to the likes of MBV, Spacemen 3, Flaming Lips, Slint, etc. About the only thing that could top this news off is news that Spacemen 3 are reforming..... All you kids out there owe it to yourselves to see this brilliant band, borrow, beg, steal if you have to, but get a ticket by any means necessary.....
November 16, 200717 yr Author So, did you get a ticket then Grimly? I was too late in today and the whole bast*rd lot were gone by the time I logged on. ...and of course there's a stack of them on e-bay already.

No, wasn't fast enough either :( I really hate these fukkin' b/astards who buy up tickets only to sell them on e-bay... For my mind they're just as bad as these pikey ticket scalper fukkers who pollute the gig-going atmosphere with their wretched presences at every fukkin' venue you go to.... <_<
November 17, 200717 yr Actually, there's still tix available for Glasgow Barrowlands, I've got mates there, so reckon I'll just take a trip up there and crash overnight with them.... :) It would be kinda cool to see MBV at the "Barras", the first time I saw MBV, it was there waaaaay back in '91 when they had Teenage Fanclub of all people supporting them  , so kind of nostalgic.....
November 17, 200717 yr Author Ha ha...that'd have been great. I was too young to see them the first time round but I managed to get tickets for the second gig (3rd July) they announced yesterday afternoon.
