Just listening to Jo Whiley's Friday show on listen again. So far all I've heard is her talking to Moyles where he says he was supposed to be seeing Will Young the night before and she says "Adele was brilliant". WTF??? Someone on Devoted said she said Adele was the best but I've not heard that. But why the hell couldn't she say he was great if she does "love him to bits" as she told us.. Is her street cred so important?

I agree - didn't like her mentioning Pop Idol all these years on as if that the only way she could relate to his fans.. :angry: And if she knows so much about the music scene why didn't she already know Will had a fantastic band??

 

She tells porkies as well - she told Chris Moyles the gig for last night was sold out when he said he couldn't go, and then we read that only 250 fans were there to see Bono and The Edge as a surprise act. :naughty:

That's OK. :D You have to quote the original post though. If you try to quote somone's post with another quote on it, it will only bring up the most recent message. It's the same on D now.

Your right hun i know it..but he gave us his all that night..and we gave him ours..and she had to be bloody blind or just stupid not to see it.. :angry: nothing worse than someone thinking that they have to be 'cool' by mentioning bands and acts no sod has heard of to big themselves up. <_< she carry's on that way and she'll end up doing a westward..and we know how much of a saddo he is. :huh:

Rav in the NOTW gave the gigs a liitle mention in his column today. The only artists he name checked were the Kooks, who played last night, Will , Bono & Edge who he said all came up trumps for the Little Noise Sessions
