I know Gary Barlow was a sort of support and mentor to Lucie Silvas when she started off, but can anyone let me know what they actually wrote together and if anything made it to the album stage.

Well Lucie actually worked as a backing singer for Gary although it was brief. The only song I know of that was recorded and actually used by someone that Gary/Lucie wrote was Michelle McManus - I'll Never Know. There could be more though!

 

To be honest I'm not very clued up on who wrote what when and where but I'm pretty certain there is nothing by Gary on any of Lucie's albums.
