November 21, 200717 yr David James is quite similar and prone to errors. Basic issue is the England don't have a decent goalkeeper. We do. We have three. 1) Scott Carson, stupid decision by McClown for putting him in at the deep end when so young and experienced. 2) Ben Foster, injured. 3) Robert Green, must be sleeping with McClown's wife. He's been by FAR the best keeper in the Prem this season, English or otherwise!

I always wanted Martin O'Neill especially as he wanted Stuart Pearce (who is doing really well with the Under 21s at the moment) as his assistant. But as they are ex-captains of Nottingham Forest, I guess the FA was scared of being controlled by Brian Clough from beyond the grave.
