LOL nope, its only sold 340k so far. Chemistry has sold 360k, WWTNS? has sold over 600k and SOGA has passed the 900k mark.

Just to round it up so people don't get anymore confused. Girls Aloud albums have charted and sales are roughly:

Sound of the Underground #2, (340,000)

What Will the Neighbours Say? #6 (over 600,000)

Chemistry #11 (360,000)

Sound of Girls Aloud #1 (roughly 900,000)

So unless something dire happens (like a McFly bomb), then Tangled Up should get to the 300,000 mark at least!

they are not big album sellers are they? With all the singles they have had so far doing so well, the albums should have sold more.

I suppose if people are buying the 4/5 singles from each era they reckon theres nothing decent left on the album ... how wrong they are!

Oh btw current midweeks show its at #2 but its close between Spice Girls and Westlife too.

Yes but at least they are constant sellers :)

It's not like if their first album sold 1 million and then the other ones half of that. All of their album have sold between 300k and 600k, plus the best-of selling over 900k.

I think it's better than when an act sell one million of its first reccord and then flops badly (poor Natasha B :( :( )

omg I didn't know they were dat cr*p, I mean they can't even sell a million copies.

They only reason Sound of girls aloud sold was because no one bought their other albums so everyone who liked their singles bought their greatest hits.

I only have their first album which was really good, I wish they wrote their own songs.

I reckon after this album, they are splitting up but I could be wrong, maybe one more.

Oolala oh yeah how c**p are the sales...

And the "they sold no album before that's why the GH is a best seller" is really inaccurate.

Robbie Williams sells 1 or 2 millions copies of each of his album, and his GH has still been a HUGE best steller, even if people "had already the singles on the albums"

And I could find a lot of acts that have poor album sales, and their GH is a flop, efen if people "had not the singles because they didn't buy the albums before"

ur comparing robbie to girls aloud

Robbie has loyal fans and not only that he sells like 2 million copies for each of his albums so he is blatantly gonna sell his greatest hits, regardless.

I rekon if robbie sold like 20million copies, I'm sure no one would buy his greatest hits.

Again comparing the two is a joke and I'm no Robbie fan.

I've never compared them in the way you try to make it look, so if you don't want to (or can't) understand what I meant, just give up.

The GH was the 2nd best selling GH of 2006 (and that's if you count the Beattles one), so I really don't think that people bought it just because "they didn't get the previous albums", I think it's more because they really enjoy their music and find them cool.

I like their music but after their first album I kinda lost interest, what happened to no gud advice, life got cold etc, those were such gud songs.

I do like the new song....very nice.

I really don't know why I continue to waste money on GA albums. :(

I have the whole set because I really do think they make amazing music at times but the albums are always so hit and miss. When you take off the singles from each one you're only left with a few gems. 'Wild Horses' 'Don't Want You Bacl' 'Hear Me Out' have been past greats.

This album really isn't growing on me though I'm glad it's done well and I wonder if the fact their debut album was released not at Christmas time [the only one to do so] is a factor in its low sales considering it was released just when they'd had the xmas #1 etc?

So its hovering around the #2 and #3 position atm. IMO, it deserves to beat Westlife to #2 (and yes, i have heard the boybands attempt).

The songs on 'Tangled Up' are such growers though and the clips on iTunes and 7digital do it no justice!

The debut album was released just after 'No Good Advice' I believe?

Ooh, thats where we disagree! And also remember that most albums have had 4 (or more) singles released from it, that makes up nearly half of the tracklist!

Paul O Grady literally held the album up during the whole of the Girls Aloud interview so hopefully they will overtake Pestlife again!
