TBH, I'd prefer it like that.

BUT, If they do a different selection of songs and genres, it show's off all the artists in thier strongest and weakest catergories.

If that makes sense at all.

i prefer this one ^_^ i reckon Niki and Brenda will ace it....Leon and Same Difference will struggle :(

I think Same Difference doing a love song could come across a bit pervy! Mind you .... Donnie & Marie did it weekly in the 1970's (love songs I mean - on their TV show!)

I wonder what song Hope will slaughter this time?

Love Songs - My Predictions as to what the six remaining acts will attempt to sing:

Therefore as it is a Simon Cowell show (and as he walked out on X-Factor-Xtra muttering the Disco theme was a disaster, then I predict a lot of very lowest common denominator & obvious Karaoke favourites being performed and then you can guarantee Simon's all-time favourite two songs will also be attempted.....

Rhydian - Unchained Melody (Righteous Bros)

Leon - Your Song (Elton John) or Angels (Robbie Williams)

Niki - Without You (Nilsson/Mariah Carey)

Beverley - I Will Always Love You (Dolly Parton/Whitney Houston)

Hope - Somewhere Over The Rainbow (Judy Garland/Eva Cassidy)

Same Difference - Beauty & The Beast or A Whole New World (Celine Dion & Peabo Bryson/ Peabo Bryson & Regina Belle)

Westlife are the guests this week

Surely not! They guested last year. I didn't think they'd have the same artists on this year too!

UBER YUCK!

Same Difference doing A Whole New World - would be cheesy - but i want a magic carpet suspended mid air for them to sing on
I'm sick of people doing 'Unchained Melody' 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' and 'I Will Always Love You' (even though i love these songs) but like thisispop said its VERY likely that at least one of these songs will appear!

Confirmed songs are:

Beverley Trotman – Without You

Niki Evans – The Power of Love

Same Difference – Nothing's Gonna To Stop Us Now

Rhydian Roberts – Somewhere

Leon Jackson – You Don't Know Me

Hope – Hurt

Hope or Leon are out this week i reckon based on those songs...

Hurt is a good track actually for Hope, out of all those tracks I reckon its curtains for Niki or Same Difference.

Mind you the songs could get changed at the very last minute like last week with Same Difference.

Beverley Trotman – Without You

Niki Evans – The Power of Love

as I suspected - someone, somewhere is deliberately giving these girls naff-as-hell songs..... The Power of Love? OMG.... DREADFUL song.... and Without You, apart from the Nilsson version, is gut-churningly bland.

Hope may finally get Hurt in the top 10

Leon or Niki to go this week please :D

So Beverley is singing "Without You"? That makes it her second performance of a song Leona sung last year. I will find myself comparing her to Leona each time she sings a song she did last year, which makes her seem worse. But that's probably because I have all of Leona's performances on my MP3 player, so I am familiar with them.
Rhydian Roberts – Somewhere

Leon Jackson – You Don't Know Me

Who were the originals of these songs by?

I could be wrong but wasnt somewhere sung by P J Proby.
