Posted November 20, 200717 yr In the part where Victoria sings, there is a version where she says "boys and girls go good together" (featured in the album "Spice") and other where she sings "love will bring us back together" (in the video version). Does anyone know why this verse was changed?
November 20, 200717 yr I think it was something to do with the gay fan base. "Love will bring us back together" sounds soo much better.
November 20, 200717 yr Oh yeah, I must say I did notice that the "boys and girls" line was a bit odd when I bought the GH. After the last 10 years seeing the video and hearing that version, that line on the GH stood out to me but I didn't know why :lol: Now I do ^_^
November 20, 200717 yr Yep it was Geri who sang the original verse and the line was "boys and girls look good together" but it was changed for the single release to avoid alienating their gay fanbase. The vocals were given to Victoria for the single, as she simply sung the verse better than Geri.
