That's where I got the sales from! I'll have to change the sales total in the American chart thread then. Thanks for that. ;)

The album has also re-entered at #26 on United World chart with 88,000 sales worldwide last week. ^_^

On Billboard it said sales were the same as last week.

where on billboard did you find that? did it say brit got around the same sales as last week? thanks

we finally have some official numbers for the last 2 weeks. One is under and the other is overestimated.

Two weeks ago she sold 60,816 and in the last week she sold 38,441. In the total, Blackout has sold 656,996 units.

I'm actually shocked she managed to produce an alright album considering the state of affairs.

However she never really made much of an imput on this album did she? I think we need to congratulate the producers on this album, because it is basically down to them that the songs on that album are listenable

the songs on that album are listenable

What an understatement.

When she recorded most the album, she was ok. I think most of the recording happened during her second pregnancy.

Yep, she had a big hand in this album, she has writing credits and she is the executive producer of it. She worked on the album in late 2005, 2006, and early 2007...

It's a shame, though, that none of the songs she helped in writing really made the album. Most people tend to think she doesn't do anything in the album making process besides provide vocals.

Anyways, here are final sales this week from HDD. It's basically at the same position as last week. Sales are much lower BUT it has been a slow week for all albums. Only the top 2 albums this week sold over 100,000 copies and just barely!

BLACKOUT

Edited by Music Maniac

I'm just glad that she is still top 40...hoping that Jive will atleast release another single to radio, if Britney doesn't do a video for it.

It's officially #37 on Billboard Top 200!

Still in the top 40!

Almost 20k in Sales this week.

Worldwide: it sold another 56,000 copies. Blackout is at 1,540,000 (These sales are with the 7.5%)

She also tends to compose some of the songs [such as Everytime, for example]. She does a lot of hard work in the process of making the album. People who choose to ignore it don't even deserve any attention [This time she even was the only executive producer, and the executive producer's work is known as a rough one].

Anyway, she's doing a lot, and people who can't recognize it..:)

Oh I forgot about the 7.5%

Yeah, I agree with you. To most people it seems they just care about if an artists writes or not which isn't all of it. I know she's done a lot to record the album and just doing vocals I'm sure is a big job. It's pretty cool Brit decided to take more control of what went on with the album as executive producer... too bad more people don't see that.

ok, UPDATED 01/16 - i also updated the sales for last week, she actually sold 20k+...i wish she was doing around 30k b/c of low album sales this time of year, she could've been up in the top 20...oh well

BREAK out THE ICE!

She should be well over 700k by next week :D
