Buzzjack Album Cover Design Competition

Welcome to Buzzjack's Album Cover Design Competition! The competition works in much the same way as the Single Cover Comp; you quite simply have to make a cover for an album of your choice that's on the release schedule for the week, and submit it! At the end of the week, voting begins and by the end of the weekend a winner is announced. Each week the leaderboard will be updated, so why not try your hand at cover design? If you're a pro with photoshop you've got a headstart, and if not you have nothing to lose!

Rules

 

1: You can submit just one cover each week - however, if you feel like changing your cover midweek, it's not a problem - just update your original post.

 

2: Your submitted cover must have been created by you; if you are found to have been stealing cover designs from others, as has happened in the past, you'll be banned from the contest!

 

3: Any member of Buzzjack is perfectly welcome to vote for the covers submitted, during the weekend voting session. Contestants should note that you cannot vote for your own cover!

 

4: An overall winner from the leaderboard will be announced every four months, with the leaderboard then being reset back to zero.

 

5: This thread will close at 8pm UK time on Friday; all covers must be

 

submitted by that time. If a situation arises that prevents you submitting a cover, but you would still like to, PM me and I will extend the deadline by a couple of hours - however the voting thread will not open any later than Friday night.

 

6: Mikal will PM all cover designers before Sunday lunchtime if they have yet to vote; those who create a cover but who do not vote, regardless of the reminder, will lose 20 points from their final score.

 

7: Covers cannot be submitted for albums not on the below release schedule: This includes any compilation series which isn't artist-specific, such as the Now or Clubland series of releases.

 

8: If you no longer wish to continue the game, and wish for your name and score to be removed from the leaderboard, PM myself or Mikal.

 

The deadline for submission of covers is 8pm Friday; PM me if you have any problems.

i really like mine this week i pretty much 'remixed' year zero's cover, hahah see what i did there, yeah i pretty much, mesh warped, elephant skinned(thats what it was called anyway and inverted the orgional cover of year zero, for the year zero remixed album :o

Forgot last week, and I could of done Girls Aloud too :( :lol:
