well it was a toss up between him, paul hogan and skippy for the place on the board

I don't know 12 of the track you listed, not without much research anyway.

These two tracks are great.

Midnight Oil - 1987 "Beds Are Burning"

INXS - 1987 "Need You Tonight"

These should have been included especially The Mercy Seat which is one of the best singles ever released and it knocks everything ever released by INXS and Midnight Oil into a cocked hat.

The Mercy Seat - Nick Cave

The Weeping Song - Nick Cave

Deanna - Nick Cave

Shivers - Boys Next Door (Nick Cave's first group)

She's Hit - Birthday Party (Nick Cave's next group)

Straight to You - Nick Cave

Watching Alice - Nick Cave

I like Nick Cave but don't care much for the other artists you list.

What about Radio Birdman, The Saints, The Hoodoo Gurus, The Lime Spiders, The Church, Bailter Space, etc etc etc! Like all of them more than INXS or Midnight Oil.

well the thread was gonna be a "would you vote for tim booth or michael stipe if they were up for election" thread seeing as this is australia's new labor environment minister  but as the lead singer of inxs died in v dodgy circumstances 10 years ago and kylie has got a new album called x it kinda changed track

and obv from there we had an excuse to have a bit of nick cave put into the mix as well. think his new album is called die lazerus die and is out feb,

was listening to the birthday party a few mins ago, my mum said he sound like he was being violently sick

of those bands not heard any of them, but the saints and the church have been mentioned in mags, so kinda have an idea
