World Go Round = MAJOR flop altogether I'd say. Busta Rhymes is not exactly BJSC's favourite of artists let alone genres and Estelle's rapping could put a few people off bar Aaron. It wouldn't get points from me, I quite liked it a while back but I've really grown to dislike it now sorryy. Knowing you, you'll pull something grande out the hat right before confirmation :D ala Alex Roots and if you plan on sending Gabs again I think it would have to her next single leak. .you've milked the standouts from LTBL but any LTBL song should get huge points from me in any case but with everyone else I'm not so sure

Estelle doesn't rap on this at all! She basically repeats "Make the world go round" a lot and then there's the "Money and cashmere" bit which is probably said slower than any of "American Boy". She has spots of rapping on tracks like "No Substitute Love", "1980" and "Shine" but not this. Busta is the only one rapping on this track.

Anyway, Phil, I'd love you to send this. With Estelle being my second favourite to Beverley Knight I can't see it getting anything less than a 12 from me. Saying that, I'm not sure I'd ever have the balls to send Estelle again, especially with Busta Rhymes. The only ones I'd consider are her two dance collaborations, the David Guetta track "One Love" (which I expect someone will send, should you drop her) or "Why Go?" with Faithless:

(the video actually stops at around 3:20)

But it looks like you'll be going with the Crookers anyway, it'd be another risk but I don't think it's that special.

I really love both tracks to be honest.

I think if i save Crookers for XXI i might be able to get a good quality mp3 instead of a p*** poor quality rip seeing as my audacity is playing up at the mo.

I'm just scared that Busta/Estelle is too different from my previous entries to be 'Ashton'. It is a great track and it does seem to have gotten some good feedback.

I was never a big American boy fan tbh but after hearing this i might d/l her album as well as Ciara's

A new era for Ashton?

The ASC remains a firm believer in the Risks FTW strategy currently in use in the FSR Ashvia, but Den Federale Republikken Ashton is set to revamp it's BJSC participation for XXI after claims that 20contests in the country has become complacent.

A new national thread will be created as Ashton tries to regain viewers after a poor string of performances with songs that have topped the Ashtonise charts have left the ASC and public feeling disillusioned with the contest. Many Ashtonise citizens believe that the country should withdraw by XXV.

A source at the ASC told us that the country was sick fed up with the direction the contest was going. They said that the ASC was continuously pissed off at finishing bellow tracks that were 1] Awful, 2] Uninspired release schedule picks that go against the grain of the contest and 3] Totally cheap tracks. The ASC source also displayed a disgust for the growing 'indie' vote and at the appearance of bloc voting in the contest.

The ASC are said to be very bitter at losing their top5 ranking position and most recently their record of being the Most Successful Non-Winner. The President and Dictator is said to have been physically sick when he heard the finishing position of Cinderella Theory.

Public Sympathy for the band has grown dramatically over the past 2days and the utterly sublime IN2U is set to remain on top of the Ashtonise chart for a 3rd week current mid week estimates put sales since sunday night at 37.8million

oooooooh :kink: Your country have now a 100% Norwegian name and not Danish/Norwegian/Swedish name :kink: :w00t:
I always use Republikken :o Just look at the recaps and all my scoreboards :D
yeah, i managed to force Republikken onto official scoreboards

Hehe :kink:

I can still see some scoreboard with FNR Tinnmark

Oh my... :heehee:

stuff the indie vote, it's the R&B bloc you should be worried about...Dolla/Silly Boy are both urban pop tracks and most of the songs in the top ten this time round wouldn't have got anywhere without the R&B fans votes!!! Once the scandipop bloc had the power, then the electropop/indie bloc for a short time, now it's the turn of the R&B bloc to domiante :o

I'm still not sending an R&B song though

True that.

and  i can't say i really care what genre i send as long as i love the track

my only entry that's ever appealed to the R&B voters was Pixie...it was rather odd seeing votes coming from the countries that never associate themselves with FSR Rontvia :heehee:

although the Ashton votes were still a key factor to our success

Thanks God you're not changing it tbh :kink:

I must say, I'm glad that finally R&B-Pop crossovers are dominating. It's been so long waiting for my favourite type of music to come into fashion. That said, neither of those winners scored points from me. :( Scandipop is never too far away either, with the dire Alcazar finishing 2nd to Eva. :puke2:

Personally I find most R&B-pop slightly boring, or at least not worthy of points. What was so special about Jordin Sparks - Emergency 911 for example?

considering it's one of the weaker tracks on the album...not a lot
