ive lost track, are we getting the xmas album now or not, i remember reading about american ep release, but no news on the uk, its still on release schedules, but was wondering if anyone knew.

I wish I could tell you more Gromit. :( But Aigle aren't the most informative of people. :lol: No news is bad news though, and I'm beginning to get a wee bit worried.

There is talk about a full Christmas album for this year, but as of right now, we have no further news. :(

Bleh maybe they just didn't finish it. :( I hope I'm wrong though.

I don't see how they couldn't have..they already have half of an album finished!

I know! :o It can't be that difficult to record a few more songs in 12 months. -_-

It would have been six new songs to record, I figure.

Yer and some would be covers... There can be no excuse for no new album!

I'm not believing there isn't going to be a release until I hear it from Aigle.

I'm still hoping that there will be a Christmas album. Unfortunately, I spoke to my friend at Warner UK yesterday. She was surprised when I asked her about the Enya album. She said she had heard nothing about it and when she checked she said there wasn't one listed. She was certain that an album would not be released this year. She concluded that it would be highly unlikely for an album to be released when nothing is known of it at this late stage.

 

I went to school with her 20 years ago! I trust her implicitly. She could be wrong but I doubt it.

 

Yet it does seem odd that Aigle have said nothing and they were quick to say there wasn't going to be an album back in 2004. The whole thing is very mysterious.

Yeah someone on Unity said that as well Ben. :( Surely the Warner people would know if there was going to be an album release? :(

I have also heard that people at Warner cannot release such information or else it could cost them their job..so my thoughts on the matter stand, I'm waiting for word from Aigle.

It's really not as serious as "releasing information" and costing jobs lol.

 

I spoke to my friend and asked if there was an album due and she said no. She checked and there isn't one listed. I really don't think she felt she was releasing information or telling me anything of earth-shattering importance. She simply told me that there is not one listed anywhere. Just as HMV in Manchester told me and the Virgin Megastore too.

Blehhh. I've a feeling we won't be getting anything tbh. We're nearly in NOVEMBER now, and no information at all is a poor poor show. I might feel differently in the morning though. :D

That's a whole month, though.

It is... but, releases are always made public knowledge more than four weeks ahead of release. :( The worst news is that Warner have said they know of no release tbh.

How do we know Warner said that for sure? There is so, so much speculation going on..and if it's a December release, there's plenty of time if we hear something soon.

 

I don't want to believe there isn't going to be a release..I've been waiting for this since I heard her say it in that interview, which was probably last year now. However, if there happens to be a statement or a no show of a CD by the end of the year, I can't say that I won't be disappointed, but I will obviously have to deal with it. :(

We know because I told you that that was what my friend at Warner said. She investigated several areas and said she could find no listing of an Enya release this year. I asked her if one could be added and she said it was very unlikely.

 

You may choose to disbelieve this information if you want to. But I'm Head of RE in a Catholic school and I'm not prone to lying. And neither is my friend at Warner.

I don't know what to think anymore. :(

Tbh, I'm just as intrigued to see what Aigle's explanation will be when/if there isn't an album! :o
