We haven't heard any news about the competition in recent times, either.

Some people will probably be serious in saying that, sadly.

Yer some people will. I can see people feeling less "close" to the trio though after this shambles.

I feel deeply disappointed.

I never felt particularly close to them and when I did meet Enya and Nicky.... Nicky was off-hand and abrupt and Enya was painfully shy to the extent that she didn't say a word to any of the fans. She did, however, willingly sign albums and pose for photos.

 

I have never ever been convinced that they care for the fan base or the people who have helped them buy castles. I think they've given very little back and this latest episode has made even more critical of their operations.

 

It won't stop me loving their music and buying it, but I'm nowhere near as interested in fan activities any more.

Ooh yeah I remember you saying you'd met them I think, where was it? I think Enya is just really shy with fans tbh, I suppose that's just how she is though.

I won't blame her for shyness. I am shy myself to the point of anxiety.

I'm shy sometimes. But only when I feel overshadowed by louder people, which isn't very often if I'm being honest. But at those times, I just sit in silence. :o It's horrible. :(

I'm pretty quiet unless I know someone well.

I'm going to go ahead and close this since there is not going to be a Christmas CD release this year.
