Well at least we have something to potentially look forward to I suppose!
Still no news. :( Should it be released, the 10th or 17th December are the only two candidate dates imo. It'll be VERY low key though, and I won't be at all surprised if it misses the UK top 40 completely, let alone go top ten like its predecessors have all done one way or another!

There's no album coming this year.

The mystery is why Aigle are not letting the fans down gently. Perhaps they just don't care.

The way they treat the fans is pretty abysmal even for an Irish organisation tbh, which are traditionally more... disorganised. It'll be nice to hear their explanation though. If we get one that is. I mean it's quite possible that we could arrive in 2008 and still know nothing more! -_-

I agree that the way they treat fans is dreadful. It has been throughout her career. The odd childish competition does nothing to help me change my mind. Enya has no presence on her website. The messages that come from her sound suspiciously like Roma. Her book has not been updated for over two years.

The whole thing is most unsatisfactory.

I'm going to start a countdown. And when those amount of days are up, I think it is safe to say that we will not be getting an album. :( November 20th is my chosen date, it is virtually impossible for an album to be released after that, when we don't even have a title or anything.

11 days to go. :w00t:

It's not virtually impossible though, David. If Christmas albums have little to no promotion, there is still enough time to release in December. :) For all we know, the project could be finished. Or not..
Then again, the SOTS release was kept very quiet. However that was very low-key, and only in one American store.
You know I won't be at all surprised if we don't hear anything from them for the rest of 2007. :( That will be the ultimate crime imo.

Obviously I have already given up hope!

I think if no album arrives, and there is no communication from Aigle, that I will cease to be a fan. I will borrow and burn releases but not buy them and certainly not bother logging onto her site or doing any fan things.

I will consider that they have taken the p*** for too long.

I don't think I'll stop being a fan of the music as such... however I can see myself distancing myself from Aigle themselves a little more.
Like Ben was saying - not visiting the site as often as I do now and so forth. Or downloading the videos legally. :heehee:
