JRock band L'Arc~en~Ciel continue their current hot streak, by scoring a #1 in the album chart with KISS, managing to sell over 220K, forcing Aqua times to the runner up position. Alicia sells more than double what she did last week, while BSB are still holding strong in the top 10. The album has now past platinum certification, and spent two weeks at #1. Led Zepplin occupy two spots in the oricon chart this week, making for a very western top 10. Last weeks #1 by NEWS takes an alarming tumble to #31.

 

JE boyband KAT-TUN take the #1 with ease this week, with the highest first week sales of the year. Ketsumeishi have to settle for #2, although the fact the latest has album has sold nearly 700K since its release is probaby consolation enough. Last weeks #1 Hey! Say! JUMP only fall to #5. Alarmingly, at #6 is H!P supergroup Morning Musume, registering their lowest first week sales ever. this can't bide well for them, and further pushes their undignified decline behind upcoming acts such as C-ute and Berryz Koubou. NEWS still lingers in the top 10, while Laruku occupy the #10 position with Hurry Xmas, last weeks #2.
