I'm defo getting this too. All her songs are amazing and she's amazing live. She's so talented...I can't understand how she's flopped.

It's getting realy bad reviews at the mo. :(

I heard a few of her songs, and the only song I actually really liked was 'Rock 'n' Roll' (which is one of the year's best songs IMO). I have no interest in her besides that one song, I'm really sad it flopped. :(

"Rock 'N' Roll" flopped? That's a shame. It was pretty good.

 

I'm in two minds whether to give her album a listen to now, after reading those reviews. I'll most probably check it out later on at some point.

124? That's absolutely criminal.

 

Must admit though, the album really isn't anything like as godo as I hoped it would be. There are some cringeworthy lyrics, some real throwaway songs and you probably are better off sticking with the excelelnt singles if you already have them.

 

A 3 out of 5 record rather than 2 I'd say.

I think I'm going to buy the album now but I listened to the samples on iTunes and wasn't too impressed. Also, I'm not liking the new version of Fed Up either...the accoustic version she released will always be the difinitive version.

I adore Rock N Roll but I wasn;t fussed on Go Mr Sunshine and I listened to a couple of others which didn't grab me so I've not bothered.

 

This started the week in the top 200 mids but has since dropped out.

I love the album :D Some cheesy lyrics but overall the songs are all pretty good.

NME really have it in for her too. You should've seen the review they printed :o

 

I love the album though! Bit cheesy in places but I love it because she's a coloured person who is doing something outside of the stereotype and clearly has a lot of talent. She just needs to show it more in her songwriting I think.
