Pop lovers rejoice - Maroon 5 will play a single New Zealand show in April next year with chart toppers One Republic.

 

American pop act Maroon 5, fronted by Adam Lavine, will play Auckland's Vector Arena on Sunday, April 6.

 

The American band's second album, It Won't Be Soon Before Long, has gone Gold in New Zealand.

 

Opening act One Republic had a recent hit with Apologize - a collaboration with hip-hop producer Timbaland.

 

Tickets go on sale on December 7 through www.ticketmaster.co.nz.
