London, Nov 25 - English singer Joss Stone is refusing to wear shoes on stage because she feels they cripple her feet.

 

The 20-year old Stone rarely wears shoes on stage and admits that she is too clumsy to perform in heels, contactmusic.com reported.

 

She said: 'It's nothing to do with being grounded and it's nothing to do with a statement. I just don't want to fall over. I love shoes and I think they are sexy and gorgeous, but they hurt and you fall over a lot. I'm totally clumsy, especially when I'm on stage because you gotta get into it and sometimes your whole body is involved so you can't trust yourself to stay standing.'

 

 

I knew it! She told this "I don't want to trip up" story on a chat show quite a while ago. A few days ago I couldn't be sure if it was Joss Stone or someone else who said it.

When you think of it it is better to perform without shoes than tripping all the time and be uncomfortable on the stage :D

Heels are tough to walk in, so I don't blame her.

I don't blame her either, I almost killed myself in high heels tonight when I was coming home :lol:

If i was a singer, i'd never want to wear shoes onstage either :lol:
