The band have recently wrapped up their world tour and are planning on putting their feet up until 2007, when Noel plans to pen some new tracks. Speaking to Russell Brand on 6music, Noel Gallagher admitted Oasis have shelved a set of songs originally touted for release on an EP. He said: "We had a couple of tracks left over from the last record and in our own heads we thought they were good enough to be released as an EP. "We went back and listened to the tapes and we reckon we can get it better, so we're having the year off instead." source: entertainmentwise.co.uk
