Legendary rock band Queen have recorded their first single in ten years.

Source: unknown

Say It's Not True will be released to mark World Aids Day, and will be available as a free download.

The band are hoping to raise awareness of the disease in memory of Queen's original lead singer Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991 of an Aids-related illness.

The song is the first studio collaboration between the original members of Queen, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, and new frontman Paul Rodgers.

Queen's Roger Taylor, who wrote the song, said: "By making the song available for free, we hope to help Nelson Mandela with his campaign to get across the message that no-one is safe from infection.

"We have to be aware, we have to protect ourselves and those we love."

He added: "The song follows the line of Mr Mandela's personal message 'It's in our own hands to bring a stop to this'."

Queen's last studio recording took place in 1997 when May, Taylor and Deacon reunited to record No One But You.

Nope - for downloads to count, they have to cost at least 40p. This song is 40p below that figure, so it won't be included - even if the entire population of the United Kingdom brought it.
