January 11, 200817 yr ANOTHER generic cockney songstress! I wish they and those so called irreverant idiots at Radio 1 would just sod off for all eternity with their 'you must like this now' attitude! That aside, this song is alright on first listen. I hate it. :( The chorus makes me want to break something! :arrr: yeah its was alright on first listen but i think the whole package will irritate v much by the 42nd week in the chart. this is starting to annoy me now - but maybe thats due to her voice and the almost ubiquity of the record on the small amount of radio I hear than the actual song - i wish she would leave the radio playlists right now...Yes!!! I think she should leave right now before I fall any deeper I think I better leave right now feeling weaker and weaker somebody better show me how before I fall any deeper I think I better leave right now http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/314H811ZXVL._AA240_.jpg then again it might have been better if she looked more like this   or Jessica Garlick
January 20, 200817 yr Brilliant single from an amazing singer- She is going to be huge in 2008 and I can't wait. Sure fire number one is this

Congrats to them all, I say. 'Chasing Pavements' is a great, great single - I reckon it'll end up as one of the year's biggest selling singles, as will her album. And isn't it refreshing to see some female singers who can actually really sing? As for Eg and Alice - they were great, weren't they? 'Indian' was a gorgeous single.... Eg White's got a busy career as a writer and producer these days (for 'big girl' Alison Moyet, to name one :P ) - not sure what happened to the lovely Alice, though....?

Adele is not the new Amy Winehouse. Adele is the new Alison Moyet (ie. Cockney, great vocalist, larger than average figure): gOtC4PDomBI Yazoo - Only You (1982 UK#2) Zl1PBnIMCt4 Alison Moyet - Situation (live 1993)
January 20, 200817 yr then again, do we really need a 'new' Alison Moyet when the original one is still making such awesome music? tip - are you going to any of the live shows? Or even... the Yazoo shows? Can't wait, me....

Alice Temple works a lot with UNKLE then again, do we really need a 'new' Alison Moyet when the original one is still making such awesome music? tip - are you going to any of the live shows? Or even... the Yazoo shows? Can't wait, me.... well in one respect no - but its just like Ford Fiesta's innit, he's the new model of the same thing fresh of the production line (and remember the Ford Motor Company is based in Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit - is in Motortown - Motown  )
January 22, 200817 yr Still not heard the single version but her live performance at the Brits launch show was hugely disappointing. Looks like once again the hype is unwarranted.
January 23, 200817 yr Still not heard the single version but her live performance at the Brits launch show was hugely disappointing. I saw her i think on Sound - and she was dull - i say i think it was sound as i try to block the all memories of Nick Grimshaw from my mind
