2005 picture is lovely, serene.

I've always said the fans' pictures( excluding mine) seem to capture far more of D's spirit than any fancy, expensive photoshoot set up by his management or record company.

Even so, he still looks so much better in life. Why is that, I wonder?

I wish you'd been there BT, it was well worth going. It's just a shame he didn't confirm earlier as we may have got more of him then.

Do you mean in the show? I'm not sure we would have. The producers' decision seems to have been to keep some form of continuity by getting the current Billy, Amos etc., so Frances Ruffelle, Paul Rider (?), Terence (forgotten his other name) to do all the dialogue links between the songs.

 

Unfortunately most of Billy's acting scenes fall into that category and so that particular Billy had far more time on stage.

 

Would you rather Darius had done RFTG or AICAIL?

 

The summation is brief but it's the one point where all eyes and ears are on Billy as he addresses everyone, those on the stage and the audience, and the whirling din and comedic interaction is stilled. IMHO Darius always performs that speech playfully with verve and arrogance to depict the smooth talking Flynn, who knows he's pulled it off again. His reputation is still intact.

I would have preferred him to do the whole of any of them.

That one seems ages ago. I remember buying the calendar at a book signing and getting that one signed as well. Or was that the one before.

Much as I like Mr December, I'm champing at the bit to hang up my brand new calendar. I love the cover pic too.

I don't have any problems putting them up whenever I want - except that I don't have one yet.
