The PC brigade drives me mad. All they do is stir up resentment, where there has been none before. They are dividing our multi cultural society instead of supposedly protecting us.

 

Added to them, we have all the extreme "health and safety" concerns - eg it's said that this year some local authorities are forbidding pantomime characters to throw a few sweeties into the audience for the children, in case someone puts in a claim against them. I really can't stand the blame and claim syndrome.

To be fair, that is not necessarily the fault of the Local Authorities, I would personally put far more blame onto the increasing American-style "ambulance chasing" mentality that is becoming more and more prevalent in the UK....
