Lily Allen - Littlest Things (Released 11/12/06)

From HMVOnline

'Littlest Things', Lily's love song, which she wrote about an ex-boyfriend and subsequently won back, is a departure from her usual upbeat tracks. It comes at the perfect time of year to really depress all those people who are desperate to get back with an ex. Wallow away.

This is the first song of hers that I really got into when it was leaked months ago. I played it again and again and again. I'm a bit disappointed by the video, because the image is entirely different to everything I had imagined in my head, but thank goodness she seems to have stopped slagging everyone off. :D
I love this song, shows a different side to Lily, she looks great in the video too.

I quite like this song :D

But yeah it should have been Alfie :wub:

Love it! Don't like the video though... Saw her perform it on tour and it was brilliant :D

Hate it. :angry:

The only song I like on the album is 'LDN', and yes, I have had the misfortune to hear it in full. My ears are still bleeding from the trauma.

I saw Lily at Wembley arena last night, she was supporting the Scissor Sisters. I've never really bothered with her much, but she was great last night, I really liked 'Alfie' :D

Alfie should be the 4th release - she'd be foolish to go with anything else tbh - I don't see anything else singleworthy.

This will scrape top 20 at most - 3rd release, Christmas etc shame as its my favourite song of hers - its beautifully written and the vocals could be a little bit better but a great song nonetheless.

It's playing on Radio2 right now - where she is a guest on Jonathan Ross' show.

It is my favourite track off a very poor album. Apart from the three singles, only the Puppet On A String-esque "Alfie" is worth listening to. It is one album where I really would recommend downloading the four tracks as the rest of the album is very weak IMHO.

What about Knock Em Out and Everything's Just Wonderful? Both great songs. In fact, every song on the album is great and it's an album you can listen to all the way through without having to skip anything.
I really like Lily's album. "Littlest Things is quite good as a single but have to admit, like some other peeps on here, "Alfie" is great. It reminds me of a mixture between "Puppet On A String" and The Beatles "Ob-la-De-Ob-La-Da" :dance:
I love Friday Night; surely I'm not the only one? :o

Friday Night is my favourite!!!

"Get into the club, make our way to the bar,

Good dancer love, but you shoulda worn a bra."

Same I love it so much; I always say to my housemates -

"there's a lesson that I want you to learn;

if you;re gonna play with fire then you;re gonna get burnt"

or

"don't try and test me cos you'll get a reaction;

another drink and I'm ready for action..."

or both together of course....

:lol: yeah I am slightly annoying.
