It's moved up to #13 on Amazon's Music Bestsellers.

It is also #1 on the Teen Pop, Dance Pop, and Australia & New Zealand charts... :yahoo:

Any info from iTunes?

Hopefully the album will continue rising as the week continues, and debut high in the top 10 in both the US, Australia, and New Zealand (is it being released over there Or is this on import?)

That is certainly good to know. I hope this brings Natasha up to the next level of stardom.

I really hope her album does well here...i havent really seen much promo for it though, maybe im just not watchin the right channels. However she's already spawned a top 20 from this album, and hopefully PFOS (Single) does well here too.
She has now made a huge leap to #4 on iTunes and is #12 on amazon! :D

:yahoo: :cheer:

Now fingers crossed for it debuting on Billboard 200 equally high...and staying on at iTunes within top 5. :D

It's at number 3 on iTunes and in number 12 on Amazon. The critics are GREAT ande what's more...

PFOS song is current at number 58 on iTunes top 100 and is the most popular song of the album! Great Nat!

I write again to tell you that PFOS is going to be release in Europe the 1st of April, with a lot of promotion and is going to be release as a reedition os N.B.

I guess PFOS will be the single here, in Spain.

I know that beacuse Sony and other music companys tell to Promusicae, a music company of here, the realeses of this 2008, and Natasha is there, at 1 of April.

Well that's just Spain, isn't it, but hopefully it's an indication of world-over. :D It's a great song; that, Piece Of Your Heart, Angel and Put Your Arms Around Me have such potential as singles.

Now for us non-American members, how roughly does a position on iTunes correspond to Billboard charts?

Can PFOS (album) be expected to chart on Billboard 200 Top 10? And can the single be expected to land in Hot 100 this week?

EDIT: I have just checked, Love Like This is at #11 and Pocketful of Sunshine is at #53 on iTunes.

I'm guessing Pocketful of Sunshine will continue to climb ( ), although not very sure about Love Like This...I mean...FOUR MONTHS...still in the Top 20...I guess despite all the criticism, it has got staying power ;) But then again, with new singles from both Natasha and Kingston, wouldn't be surprised if it started to slip down in the charts.

I wouldn't be surprised if Love Like This reached a new peak on the Hot 100 this week - most songs do when the album is released. I'd expect it to be about #16 or something. Hopefully PFOS will debut too, but without much airplay the highest I'd expect it to be is around the 80s somewhere. :P And as for the album, HDD sales will tell us that by the weekend, but probably Top 10 and hopefully Top 5. :D

Great. But hopefully PFOS would debut well in the Hot Digital Songs, Hot Digital Tracks, and Single Sales charts, right?

With airplay hopefully picking up as the week goes along.

I have some fab news everyone!

JUNO FEELS OSCAR HEAT: Thank God for Juno. The celebrated indie film, which garnered four Oscar nominations yesterday, is seeing the media attention translate into sales spikes for the Rhino soundtrack, featuring the Moldy Peaches’ Kimya Dawson, among others. Early retail reports put it in the 60k area, with a chance at 70k, thereby averting the lowest chart-topping total ever of last year’s Dreamgirls soundtrack. That would be enough to make it #1, with J’s Alicia Keys dropping back into the mid-50k range at #2. Epic’s Natasha Bedingfield appears ready to debut in the high 40k range, with a shot at 50k, good enough for #3. Meanwhile, the market was down 4% vs. last week, down 14% vs. same week last year and now down 9% year-to-date. Yeesh. (1/23p)

Yeah low sales but at least #3 is a very good chart position! :D

 Good chart position, low sales. But sales should pick up...I mean, LLT is not exactly the kind of song that makes you immediately think "I gotta have this album!" (same could go for "Babies"...they are both nice cheerful songs, but too bubble-gum poppy to be appealing to a big audience). But PFOS should certainly boost sales big-time...

I agree, but I didn't really expect LLT to do as well as it has done!

I'm sure sales will defintiley pick up once the next single is released and I'm very happy with a #3 debut as it's a massive achievement for Nat since her first album debuted at something loike #23 if I'm correct?

Exactly, and it still sold loads :D

I didn't expect LLT to do half as well really...when I first heard it, thought it was totally c**p...after a while it kinda grew on me, although I rather prefer Babies in terms of a Natasha Bedingfield "Bubblegum pop" song...

At the end of the day, she is at her best when singing powerful songs like These Words, Unwritten, The One That Got Away, PFOS, and Angel... :D :yahoo:

And its those songs that make it to the top of the charts.

(Soulmate and Say It Again have big-time potential too, if released at a proper time and marketed right...I am hoping for Say It Again being a 4th US single, after Angel...Much wiser than what was done in the UK, Soulmate is a depressive song, to follow it up with Say It Again was just stupid. But its a good follow-up to a song like Angel ;) And Soulmate could probably make it as a 5th US single, with radio help from the wicked Bimbo Jones remix to make it #1 on the Dance charts :naughty: )

#2? :cheer: :yahoo:

Imagine, the album debuting on Top 5 and the new single debuting Top 40, with the first single still in top 15.

On Amazon,

Pocketful of Sunshine (album) is #1 Dance Pop, #1 Teen Pop, #1 Australia and New Zealand, and #11 in Music overall.

I Wanna Have Your Babies (single) is #31 Australia and New Zealand.

Unwritten is #16 Dance Pop, #58 Adult Contemporary, and #337 in Music overall.

Interesting, eh?

Where's the best place to get it delivered to the UK? Amazon.com?

JUNO RULES THE CHARTS: Rhino’s surprise hit Juno soundtrack will leap back into the top slot on next week’s HITS album chart, with between 65-70k, thanks to this week’s Oscar noms. Now, that may not be much by absolute standards, but on a week like the one we're living through, it'll probably be enough to top J’s Alicia Keys (55-60k) and Geffen’s Mary J. Blige, who will duel with tbd/ATO/RED’s Radiohead for #3, both projecting in the 40-45k range. The week’s top debut, Epic’s Natasha Bedingfield, will bow at #5 with a similar total. Rounding out the Top 10 should be Big Machine’s Taylor Swift and Jive/ZLG’s Chris Brown (at around 30-35k apiece), followed by EMM’s Now 26, Disney’s Hannah Montana 2 and Geffen’s Keyshia Cole, all in the 25-30k range. (1/25a)

I wish it had stayed at #3. :(
