December 22, 200717 yr This isnt the best performance. She struggles singing this, always outta breath. I've tried to sing it like she does. It kills.
December 23, 200717 yr I love this song live, I think it prefer it to the studio version, it had such fantastic lyrics and melodically it's one of the best she's done.
January 2, 200817 yr This song made me cry last night  well it was 3am this morning, and i was already crying.....but u know what i mean
January 4, 200817 yr Does anybody reckon there will be another single from my december? I think no but she should, her last album sold so much, surely she should be allowed at last a few more flops before moving on :(

I think no but she should, her last album sold so much, surely she should be allowed at last a few more flops before moving on :( I doubt they'd put so much into an album and then only release such little material from it. I think DWYT has been re-scheduled in the UK.
January 21, 200817 yr I honestly can't see a release for anything from MD now. DWYT was released to video stations and such, but nothing really took off did it, its unlikely it will the 2nd time. And by all accordances the next album is going to be Country orientated, which doesnt sound great from a UK music scene prospective.
January 27, 200817 yr MD is amazing lyrically, and I think in terms of major fans, its also a fantastic album. However, to the casual fan, or radio listeners, I don't think it has that something that makes it grab attention, hence explaining its limited success.
January 28, 200817 yr I really loved kelly's music, but MD is what made me a real fan. I personally think its brilliant. From the 1st time I heard Never Again, I knew I'd love it

However, to the casual fan, or radio listeners, I don't think it has that something that makes it grab attention, hence explaining its limited success. I agree. It's a fantastic album, in my opinion, better than her previous two. But it's so under-rated because of the lack of single releases which is because it isn't all that commercial. There's so little point to making an album though and releasing such little material. To be fair, Don't Waste Your Time makes sense as it is commercial and radio-friendly, but it's not that a great track. Her label should be more daring and release something like Haunted and definetly Sober. The UK music industry is full of these crappy Lilly Allen-Kate Nash-Adele artists who are releasing different material than what everyone is used to. Why can't Kelly? - at least she can sing a track rather than just speak lyrics and there are good tracks to choose from on My December.
February 6, 200817 yr Valid point and I totally agree with you Jack. I think because of the commercial failure in the USA, the label have been far more reserved with their releases globally, possibly because of the major similarities to the US and UK music scenes. However there is one major difference between the two in that the UK are far more welcoming of new sounds that the USA, and I think that the MD would have been far more successful and well received if, like you said, the label had been a bit more daring with their releases. Sober is a good example, because it failed on US radio twice, whereas I think it would be a great and well received UK single. Who knows, but I think the label cut their loses short, and as effect have discredited and tarnished Kelly's career somewhat.
