Oh well here's a trick. If you own iTunes - just open it and search for the album and listen to the clips then download illegally the ones you like or if you really like the record go and buy it. :lol:

Chosen Track: When It Rains

 

 

After I saw the video in Summer 2006 for 'Emergency' I became hooked on Paramore and their sophomore effort 'Riot!' was everything I could've hoped for minus the f***ing botch up job on the singles! Why wasn't the AMAZING 'When It Rains' released? It screams 'BIG HIT' imo. :( There are some great highlights on this album if you look past theh it single 'Misery Business' which is undoubtbly the strongest track here. 'Decoy', 'For a Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic' and 'Let The Flames Begin' are also worthy of a mention. Just a shame that an album and a band with such potential have sunk before they had a chance to swim.

What is this magic position he speaks of? :o Dirty minds will flourish trying to work that one out but maybe he just simply means #1 on Grami's Album Chart? :heehee: Either way I was surprised to discover this is his 3rd album. Definately one of my favourite new artists - he's just weird and kooky and the songs on this record are just so out there it's like BJork only she grew a pen*s and dyed her hair red. Such a shame he doesn't have bigger success here. :(

OK shoot me if you want - I don't care. This album whilst not as amazing and worthy of a spot in the bible as some people would like to make out is still probably the best album by any reality TV show star with the exception of Will Young's 'Friday's Child', Sinead Quinn's 'Ready To Run' and Girls Aloud Greatest Hits. :heehee: but Leona I think has what it takes to stay around for a long long time. The album in places morphs into Whitney/Mariah/Celine in what seems like a trip back to the 90s but Leona's vocals are delivered perfectly song after song whether it's on the beautiful fuzzy beat of 'Angel' to the 'if she was emo the scene kids would love this' #1 smash 'Bleeding Love', the Disney fueled 'Here I Am' and even the bland as hell 'A Moment Like This' is listenable if you're in the right frame of mind.

Definately a worthwhile purchase. :o

Such a good album and yes I agree about ''When It Rains'', tis a shame really. :( I heard they're re-releasing Misery Business in Feb though, so maybe that will finally get them noticed? :/

 

Ooh and Spirit, amazing album. I was impressed with it. Only one or two songs I don't like on there really! :o

I don't think When it rains is to great, Crushx3 is my favourite single from the Riot album.
